The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) says its 2024/2025 recruitment exercise has reached the final stage, with the verification portal now open.
The portal will remain open from October 28 to November 14, 2026. Candidates cleared to proceed to the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) screening must complete the required steps within this period. The drug/substance abuse test is conducted FREE OF CHARGE.
Candidates must review and confirm previously uploaded documents and information before proceeding.
They must also select a preferred screening state and location from the available options and follow the portal instructions.
After completing these steps, candidates must visit the NDLEA portal to register for mandatory substance abuse screening and select a date and time.
The board said screening outcomes will be communicated through the recruitment portal after the exercise.
Candidates should note:
- The CDCFIB portal is open from October 28 to November 14, 2026.
- Only candidates cleared for NDLEA screening should complete verification.
- Candidates must confirm uploaded documents and information.
- Candidates must select a screening state and location.
- Candidates must register on the NDLEA portal and select a screening date and time.
