May 28, 2025 – The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has warned the public about fake exam messages going around. These messages are sent using a spoofed version of JAMB’s official shortcode, 66019. They wrongly tell candidates to reprint exam slips for another test—even those who have already done the resit exam and gotten their results.

JAMB clearly states that these messages are fake and should be ignored. Right now, no new exams have been scheduled, and anyone who already completed the resit and received their score doesn’t need to worry.

The only exam JAMB plans to hold soon is the foreign examination. This exam will take place in nine countries, including parts of Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. Also, a 2025 mop-up exam is being arranged for candidates with biometric issues or those granted waivers after missing earlier exams.

For reliable exam updates, candidates are encouraged to check only official JAMB channels. Avoid falling for scams that can affect your university admission process in Nigeria.
