Dangote Group has officially opened applications for its 2026 Graduate Trainee Programme, giving young Nigerian graduates a chance to start a career in the oil and gas industry through practical refinery training and professional development.

The company announced the programme on its official X account, explaining that the 18-month training scheme will allow selected candidates to gain hands-on experience across different refinery operations while working closely with experienced professionals in the sector.

According to the company, the programme is targeted at “high-potential, vibrant and enthusiastic initiative-takers” who are interested in building careers in a competitive global business environment.

The opportunity is open to graduates from several fields including Chemical Engineering, Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, Mining Engineering, Geological Sciences, Laboratory Sciences, Biochemistry, Accounting and Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, Social Sciences, Humanities and Law.

Applicants must possess either a First Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) with a minimum of Second Class Lower or HND Upper Credit. Interested candidates must also not be older than 28 years by May 31, 2026.
