The Development Bank of Nigeria (DBN) has launched a new reward programme aimed at encouraging Nigerian entrepreneurs and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to improve their business knowledge through online learning.

Under the initiative, business owners who participate in DBN’s Entrepreneurship Training Programme can win cash rewards of up to N900,000 based on their performance in course assessments and final quizzes.

The programme, promoted under the “Reward4Learning” campaign, is being driven through DBN’s online learning platform, which offers training for entrepreneurs, startup founders and MSME operators across Nigeria.

According to information shared by the bank, participants are expected to complete courses and take final examinations linked to specific monthly training themes. The highest-performing MSMEs will then be selected for cash rewards.

DBN said the initiative is designed to support ambitious founders while also improving access to practical business education for Nigerian entrepreneurs looking to grow sustainable businesses.

The bank noted that the top-performing MSMEs with the highest final quiz scores in each course cycle stand a chance to receive the financial rewards.

In a separate statement shared on its official Facebook page, DBN said the first 45 business owners with the highest scores in the final exams conducted every two weeks would be rewarded.

“The Development Bank of Nigeria through the BizAid #Reward4Learning initiative is awarding cash rewards to Nigerian MSMEs,” the bank stated.

“Every two weeks, the first 45 business owners who score highest on the final exams on courses get rewarded.”

The Entrepreneurship Training Programme is part of DBN’s broader efforts to strengthen Nigeria’s MSME ecosystem by supporting business capacity development, entrepreneurship training and financial inclusion.

Interested entrepreneurs can register and participate through the bank’s online learning portal www.devbankng.com.
