Residents in Funtua, Katsina State, have been notified of expected cash payments under a scheme referred to as RR in ward-level announcements dated October 8 and 10, 2026.
A notice signed by Ismail Mu’azu Dandutse, identified as the Funtua scheme chairman, says beneficiaries in Makera Ward are expected to receive up to ₦75,000 each. It also refers to the Rabiu neighbourhood in Nasarawa Ward.
Separate notices for Maigamji and Tudun Iya wards, and many others state that beneficiaries are expected to receive ₦7,500 each. Residents should check the announcement for their specific ward rather than assume one amount applies to everyone.
The notices say CCT payments are expected to begin on October 16 or 17. They do not confirm payments have started, and the acronym “RR” is not expanded in the notices.
Residents are advised to check beneficiary lists circulated in their wards. The Makera notice says people who cannot read names clearly in the shared copy may check with ward or neighbourhood representatives.
