The Federal Government has opened an opportunity for Nigerian innovators and builders to present their solutions to decision-makers and investors through the Built on Nigeria’s Postcode initiative.

The programme invites builders with existing products or working prototypes powered by the Nigerian Postal Service (NIPOST) Postcode Application Programming Interface (API) to apply for pitch sessions.

The initiative is organised by the Federal Ministry of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy, in collaboration with NIPOST and supported by the 3 Million Technical Talent (3MTT) programme and the Office for Nigerian Digital Innovation (ONDI).

Selected builders will demonstrate how their solutions use the National Digital Postcode to address problems in logistics, commerce, financial services, identity management and emergency response.

The first showcase featured five innovators who presented their ideas to Communications Minister, Dr Bosun Tijani, and NIPOST Postmaster-General and Chief Executive Officer, Tola Odeyemi.

The next pitch session is scheduled for Saturday, November 7, 2026, at 11:00 am and will be streamed live on YouTube. A further session is planned for November 21.

Applications remain open for upcoming sessions. Participation is free, but applicants must have a product or working prototype using the NIPOST Postcode API.

How to apply

Interested applicants should visit https://pitch.postcode.gov.ng/apply, complete the application and submit their product or prototype details.
