The National Emergency Relief and Stabilisation Intervention (NERSI) is Federal Government support for poor and vulnerable households. Selected beneficiaries receive ₦50,000 through a mobile wallet. There is no public registration.
How beneficiaries are selected
Beneficiaries are selected from verified identity records and the National Social Register, then screened based on need. You cannot pay or apply to be added.
How it works
- Selected beneficiaries receive an SMS from an approved provider.
- Reply YES or follow the consent prompt. The wallet is linked to your phone number and NIN.
- Once credited, withdraw through a POS agent or bank, or spend from the wallet.
