The Ingawa Fellowship Forum (IFF), under the leadership of Engr. Mustapha Sama’ila Ingawa (MS Ingawa), the Senior Special Assistant on Media and Strategy to the Executive Governor of Katsina State, has officially launched Phase II of its Scholarship and Sponsorship Initiatives for students from Ingawa Local Government Area. The announcement marks another step in the Forum’s continuous efforts to empower young people through education, skill development, and academic excellence.

According to the IFF, the new phase aims to promote access to quality education by supporting students who have secured admission into recognised tertiary institutions across Nigeria. The scholarship focuses on courses with high employability potential and global relevance. These include Medical Sciences such as MBBS, Nursing, and Pharmacy, alongside all Engineering disciplines, Environmental Sciences like Architecture and Urban and Regional Planning, as well as Law, Accounting, Economics, Mass Communication, Information Technology, Cyber Security, Software Engineering, and other competitive courses that align with emerging global opportunities.

In his remarks, Engr. Mustapha Sama’ila Ingawa stated that “the Forum remains fully committed to educational development and youth mentorship. This initiative is part of IFF’s broader vision to bridge educational gaps, reward excellence, and promote sustainable community progress.” He explained that the Forum had finalised the modalities and selection criteria for the local government scholarship scheme, ensuring fairness and transparency in the selection process.

A key highlight of the Phase II programme is the introduction of a Special Scholarship Award for Outstanding Academic Excellence. This award is designed to recognise the most exceptional student from Ingawa with the highest Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) from any accredited university. It specifically targets students in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) disciplines, celebrating their innovation and academic achievements.

The Forum also urged eligible students and community stakeholders to actively participate in the upcoming screening and nomination exercise. Official registration details, according to the IFF, will be released through its verified communication channels.

The Ingawa Fellowship Forum is a non-political, non-profit organisation composed of professionals, intellectuals, and community leaders from Ingawa committed to promoting education, leadership development, and social progress.
