Jigawa Announces Recruitment of 810 Graduates for J-TEACH Batch B

The Jigawa State Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology, under the leadership of the Commissioner, Professor Isa Yusuf Chamo, has issued a notice to all indigenes of the state who have completed their Degree studies in various fields, including B.Sc, B.Sc Ed, B.A and B.A Ed.

According to the Ministry, the Jigawa State Government has approved the recruitment of 810 graduates into the J-TEACH Batch B programme, where successful applicants will be deployed to teach in secondary schools across the state. The Ministry explained that this move is aimed at addressing the shortage of teachers and improving the quality of education at the senior secondary level.

The announcement added that interested applicants should prepare ahead, as the application link will be released soon. It also stated that all applicants must ensure they have their NYSC Certificate or Exemption Certificate to qualify for the programme.

“This is an opportunity for youths in the state who are seeking teaching jobs and wish to contribute to the educational development of Jigawa,” the notice said.
