The Katsina State Government has approved recruitment into several cadres in the state civil service, inviting qualified indigenes to apply for vacant positions.
The vacancies include Administrative Officer II, Information Officer II, engineers, software engineers, geologists, hydrologists, agricultural and veterinary officers, town planners, architects, surveyors, accountants, state counsel, data analysts, instructors and other roles.
The recruitment covers professional, technical and administrative roles for candidates with different educational backgrounds. Each cadre has its own entry requirements, so applicants should check the portal before choosing a position. Prepare supporting documents in advance to avoid errors or incomplete submissions during registration and ensure all details are correct.
Applicants must be indigenes of Katsina State and aged between 18 and 49. Candidates must hold the qualifications required for their chosen cadre from recognised or accredited institutions.
Those who meet the requirements will be invited for a merit-based test. Only candidates who pass the test will proceed to the next stage of the recruitment exercise.
Applicants must also possess a National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) discharge or exemption certificate. Those without either certificate are not eligible to apply.
Multiple applications, or choosing a position that does not match an applicant’s qualifications, will lead to disqualification. Candidates are advised to review the requirements for each cadre before submitting their details.
The recruitment is open to eligible indigenes, with applications closing on Monday, November 9, 2026.
