The Katsina State Institute of Technology and Management (KSITM) has denied any involvement in false social media posts claiming that some individuals are paying registration fees for students in Katsina State.
In a press release signed by Abubakar Ahmed, MCAI, for the Acting Registrar, the institution stated, “KSITM has never authorized, approved, or published any such announcement.”
The school further stressed that all admissions into its National Diploma (ND) and National Innovation Diploma (NID) programmes must go through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB). The statement reads: “There is no alternative route to gaining admission into KSITM or any accredited institution in Nigeria without going through the JAMB process.”
KSITM also confirmed that it has no hidden arrangements or illegal shortcuts for admissions. “Members of the public are warned to disregard this false information,” the school warned, advising people not to engage with any unverified phone numbers or individuals spreading such messages.
