L-PRES Holds DBN Livestock Training in Yola with Minister Maiha

Day 3 of the DBN Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support Project Regional Training was held in Yola, Adamawa State, with the Honourable Minister for Livestock Development, Alhaji Idi Mukhtar Maiha, in attendance.

The training comes after a successful launch in Enugu as L-PRES moves to strengthen MSMEs and PFIs in the North-East zone through targeted capacity building in livestock agribusiness financing.

The Minister was received by the Head of Business Development, Ayodele Ojosipe, and the DBN team.

“South East (Enugu) completed. North East (Yola) ongoing. Four zones to go,” the organisers said.

Working with the World Bank, the project aims to bridge the livestock agribusiness finance gap across Nigeria.
