Lagos Government launches Eko skills development initiative

Lagos State Government, through the Ministry of Wealth Creation and Employment, has announced the Eko Skills Development Initiative, a program designed to equip young people with practical knowledge and adaptable skills for today’s fast-paced economy.

The ministry described the initiative as a platform to “sensitize young minds with essential skills, practical knowledge and an adaptable mindset,” while emphasizing its role in supporting the economic growth of the state.

The program is open to students, youths, out-of-school graduates, and aspiring entrepreneurs who are eager to explore opportunities in skill development and entrepreneurship.

According to the ministry, “Are you ready to have your mindset transformed about the skills needed to thrive in today’s fast-paced world? Look no further.”

Themed “Unlocking Potentials for a Greater, Brighter and Rewarding Future,” the event will take place on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at Unity Hall, 6/7 Ajuwon Road, Elliot Bus Stop, Ifako-Ijaiye, Lagos State, starting at 9:30 am.
