The Lagos State Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture will host this year’s Children’s Day Celebration on Tuesday, May 27th, 2025, at the J. Randle Centre for Yoruba Culture and History in Onikan, Lagos. The event promises a mix of fun and learning to support cultural education for children in Lagos.

Children will enjoy folktales, cultural displays, painting, drama performances, dance shows, and hands-on workshops focused on creativity and skill acquisition. The event highlights the importance of youth engagement and aligns with Lagos State’s vision to promote talent development and tourism growth.

“This is more than entertainment—it’s about using tourism and arts to shape young minds,” said Mr. Idris Aregbe, Special Adviser to the Governor on Tourism, Arts and Culture.
