The Lagos State Universal Basic Education Board (LASUBEB) has alerted the public about a fake Pre-Screening Exercise allegedly organized by The Brethren Conglomerate (TBC) for applicants of the ongoing LASUBEB recruitment.

In a statement signed by Dr. Hakeem Shittu, Executive Chairman of LASUBEB, the Board stated clearly that it has “no affiliation, partnership, or endorsement with The Brethren Conglomerate (TBC) or any external group conducting recruitment-related meetings, screenings, or documentation exercises.”

The statement emphasized that all recruitment activities, including screening, shortlisting, and selection, are handled directly by LASUBEB. It added that official updates will only be released through the Lagos State Government’s verified communication platforms such as the LASUBEB website, official social media pages, and recognized media outlets.

Applicants and the public were warned to “disregard any unofficial invitations or notices and refrain from submitting documents or making payments to unauthorized individuals or organizations.”

Dr. Shittu reaffirmed LASUBEB’s commitment to “a transparent, merit-based, and fair recruitment process in line with the Lagos State Government’s civil service standards.”
