The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) has launched the DL4ALL Programme to train Nigerians in essential digital skills. This national initiative is now active in all 36 states and the FCT, after a successful pilot that trained over 152,000 people. The goal is to give 70% of Nigerians digital literacy by 2027, and reach 95% by 2030, supporting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
DL4ALL focuses on six important areas: operating devices and software, managing data, digital communication, content creation, staying safe online, and solving problems. It is designed to create jobs, improve financial access, and boost education through technology.
