The National Association of N-Power Beneficiaries has appealed to the Federal Government for urgent action on the delayed N-Power stipends, describing the situation as a growing burden on young Nigerians. In a letter dated 17 November 2025 and addressed to the Honorable Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, the association said many beneficiaries rely on the programme for essential needs and the long delay has created nationwide hardship. This development has drawn attention from citizens seeking reliable updates, social welfare information, and government support news.
The association stated, “We write to sincerely appeal for your urgent intervention regarding the pending stipends of N-Power beneficiaries. Many of these young Nigerians depend heavily on the programmed for their basic needs, and the prolonged delay has caused significant hardship across the country.” The group explained that the rising cost of living, inflation challenges, and increased financial pressure on youths make timely payment a priority.
According to the letter signed by Comrade Kehinde J. James for the National Chairman, prompt payment will help restore hope among beneficiaries and rebuild trust in government social intervention programmes. The association added, “Your prompt action in resolving this issue will go a long way in restoring hope and strengthening the trust beneficiaries have in the country.”
The leadership urged the minister to give immediate attention to the matter and ensure payments are processed without further delay. They also appreciated the minister for prioritizing vulnerable Nigerians, noting the importance of social protection, national welfare initiatives, and government economic support.
