The National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI) has announced the commissioning of the National Tractor Recovery Project under its National Asset Restoration Programme. The launch is scheduled for Sunday, June 8th, 2025, at 10:30 am. It will take place at the Borno State Agricultural Mechanization (BOSAMA) Farm Center in Maiduguri.
According to NASENI, “This initiative aims to restore broken-down government-owned tractors to boost mechanized agriculture.” Officials say it supports the Federal Government’s Renewed Hope Agenda, focusing on food security and agricultural productivity through innovative engineering solutions. The public is invited to attend.
