QNET Hosts 8,000 Youths at Lagos Product Exhibition

QNET hosted more than 8,000 entrepreneurial youths in Lagos during its two-day product exhibition and educational event in Ogba, Ikeja, where the company showcased a wide range of lifestyle and wellness solutions. The programme attracted a large turnout of young people who were eager to learn about the opportunities QNET is offering in Nigeria through its direct-selling model and digital learning platforms. The first day of the exhibition, held on November 29, 2025, recorded over 5,000 attendees who joined product highlights, educational talks, music and entertainment sessions that created an energetic atmosphere at the venue.

The event took place at the Vantage Event Center on ACME Road in Ogba, where QNET presented its diverse lineup of products through presentations led by the Regional Strategy and Marketing Manager, Bernieg Gaksch. He guided journalists and other visitors through the exhibition hall, explaining the features and purpose of each product on display. According to Gaksch, “This event is aimed to raise awareness about QNET’s diverse product offerings and demonstrate the company’s unwavering commitment to enhancing lives through innovative solutions. The product exhibition also serves to solidify QNET’s position as a product-oriented leader in the Nigerian market.” He added that the gathering was designed to help attendees gain a clearer and deeper understanding of QNET’s product portfolio and its overall business operations.

One of the top attractions was HomePure Nova, QNET’s flagship nine-stage water filtration system capable of filtering contaminants down to 0.2 microns. It uses a silver-infused membrane that eliminates 99.9999 percent of bacteria and viruses, making it suitable for homes seeking safer drinking water. Another popular product was the HomePure Zayn air purification system, a compact six-stage device built to remove pollutants, odours and airborne viruses with 99.94 percent efficiency.

QNET also displayed its Swiss-made watch collections under the Bernhard H. Mayer and Cimier brands. Gaksch noted that the watchmaking heritage dates back to 1871, with the company now adopting modern sustainability practices. He explained that the Omni Collection is produced using 100 per cent recycled materials, and for every watch sold, QNET sponsors the planting of one tree globally. This approach, he said, aligns with the company’s long-term environmental goals.

The exhibition further showcased QLearn, QNET’s online education platform that offers certificate courses in fields such as business management, financial literacy, communication and network marketing. These courses are accredited through institutions in the United Kingdom, United States and European Union. Gaksch told participants that QLearn was created to support the growing number of young Africans looking for entrepreneurial opportunities but lacking formal business training. He clarified that the QI Group, QNET’s parent company, owns a university in Malaysia, although admissions into the institution operate independently from QNET’s direct-selling activities.

Other products displayed included ProSpark, a natural toothpaste enriched with astaxanthin and glutathione to promote gum health and reduce inflammation. The toothpaste does not contain fluoride and instead uses rock salt to strengthen enamel. QNET also presented QVI, its travel and lifestyle arm offering a membership-based booking platform with access to more than one million hotels around the world. The platform includes owned resorts in Thailand, Turkey, Sri Lanka and Malaysia. Members can book accommodation, car rentals and holiday activities, though travellers are responsible for handling their own visas and flight bookings.

The second day of the event drew more than 3,000 participants, bringing the total attendance to 8,000. QNET said the exhibition offered visitors a rare chance to interact directly with its products while learning about the company’s direct-selling model. The programme reinforced QNET’s image as a trustworthy and reliable direct-selling brand in Nigeria.

The National Agricultural Development Fund has entered a tripartite Memorandum of Understanding with Leadway Assurance Company Limited and Verdure Climate to expand agricultural insurance and climate-resilient finance for smallholder farmers. The agreement was signed during the National Dialogue on Innovative Agric Insurance and Climate Finance in Abuja and will support the implementation of an AGRA project focused on Building Farmers’ Resilience through Innovative Insurance Models and Financial Instruments.

The Executive Secretary of the Fund Mohammed Ibrahim, represented by Nasir Ingawa, General Manager, Partnerships and Investor Relations, said the partnership connects directly with the Fund’s goal of growing agricultural lending across the country.

He noted the rising challenges farmers face due to climate change and limited access to credit. He said “As we face increasing challenges due to climate change, unpredictable weather patterns, and limited access to finance, the role of innovative financial solutions such as index-based agricultural insurance and blended finance has never been more critical.”

Ibrahim explained that introducing Index-based and Pay-at-Harvest insurance products would help strengthen investor confidence and encourage more participation in the agriculture sector.

According to him, the collaboration will focus on bundling insurance with agricultural loans and scaling credit-linked insurance for rice, soybeans and maize value chains in priority states. He also stated that the initiative will embed climate-smart agriculture practices into loan products offered by the Fund.

He said the partnership will also support the introduction of digital climate advisory services and improve the capacity of business development service providers working with farmers. At the event, Leadway Assurance’s Head of Agriculture and Risk Solutions Fatona Ayoola Paul described the agreement as a strategic step towards stronger climate preparedness in the agricultural space. He commended the management of the National Agricultural Development Fund for offering the policy direction needed for such interventions to thrive.

The dialogue brought together financial institutions, government agencies, insurers, anchor companies and farmer groups to discuss ways to integrate index insurance into agricultural lending. Stakeholders also examined methods for unlocking more private sector financing to support rural producers.

The project forms part of AGRA 3.0, which aims to expand access to finance, build better market linkages, deepen innovative insurance options and strengthen the resilience of thousands of farmers between 2025 and 2027.
