The Digital Skills Impact Social Media Challenge begins on November 2, 2026. Participants must record a video lasting 60 to 120 seconds, explaining how their training has affected their lives, businesses, careers or opportunities.

The challenge is open to champions and beneficiaries of DL4All, 3MTT, Coursera, iHatch, Cisco, Tech4Dev, STEM Bootcamp and other Federal Government digital skills initiatives.

Videos must be original, truthful and based on personal experience. Participants should explain the programme they benefited from, skills acquired and their impact.

Videos must have clear visuals and audible sound. All Nigerian languages are permitted.

Entrants must publish videos on a personal Facebook, Instagram, X or TikTok account, using the official hashtags #MyDigitalJourney and #MyDigitalFuture and tagging the relevant government account where applicable.

Entries will be judged based on authenticity, impact, creativity, clarity, relevance, reach, likes, shares and comments.

Selected winners must submit the direct link to their published video through the designated channel within the campaign period, alongside details needed to verify participation.

Participants under 18 must obtain consent from a parent or legal guardian before creating and submitting videos. Anyone featured must also give consent, while content must respect privacy, copyright and campaign guidelines.

The campaign, Digital Skills Impact Stories, aims to showcase how training translates into real-world progress.

How to participate

Eligible beneficiaries should record a genuine 60–120-second video sharing their digital skills journey. Publish it on a personal Facebook, Instagram, X or TikTok account, include #MyDigitalJourney and #MyDigitalFuture, and tag the relevant official government account where applicable. Follow NITDA’s official channels for submission details and campaign updates. The challenge starts November 2, 2026. Prizes include laptops, tablets and high-end smartphones.
