The Minister for Youth Development, Olawande Emmanuel Ayodele, recently held a strategic meeting with NIRSAL Microfinance Bank (NMFB), led by Managing Director Abubakar Abdullahi Kure. The meeting focused on reviewing the progress of the National Youth Investment Fund (NYIF) and discussing ways to improve its impact on Nigerian youth.
The discussion explored how to strengthen youth empowerment, improve economic access, and increase funding opportunities for young Nigerians. They also talked about tackling challenges that affected the previous phase of the fund and shared new ideas to move forward.
The Minister stressed the need for continuous collaboration with financial institutions like NMFB to make youth development programmes more inclusive and effective.

The renewed partnership aims to help young people gain better access to business loans, digital skills, and training support, helping them grow and contribute to the nation’s economy.
