The Poverty Alleviation and Wealth Creation Agency (PAWECA) has announced the commencement of a Mop-Up Data Capture Exercise for beneficiaries yet to complete their data capture under the Fintiri Business Wallet scheme.
The agency confirmed it has begun receiving official complaints from beneficiaries who did not receive payment due to failed transactions.
According to PAWECA, the exercise will hold on Tuesday, 6th January, 2026 at the PAWECA Headquarters, while a statewide exercise will take place on Wednesday, 7th January, 2026 across all 21 Local Government Areas (LGAs).
PAWECA stated that data capture will officially close on Wednesday, 7th January, 2026, noting that “any form not captured within the approved period will be considered invalid.”
The agency disclosed that complaints and registration for beneficiaries affected by failed transactions related to the December 2025 Fintiri Business Wallet payment only will be received by PAWECA Desk Officers across all 21 LGAs.
Affected beneficiaries are required to submit complaints with relevant supporting documents, including photocopies of the filled PAWECA Form.
PAWECA observed that some beneficiaries who already received the December 2025 payment are still attempting another data capture, stressing that “the system is designed to detect and eliminate duplicate registrations.”
The complaints registration period will run from Wednesday, 7th January to Friday, 9th January, 2026, between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM.
PAWECA said it “regrets inconvenience caused by transactions.”
