Prince Ukeme Ukpong Mega Foundation has announced preparations for its annual Learn, Excel & Empower with Prince Ukeme Ukpong event, set to take place in Obot Akara Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. The highly anticipated program aims to transform more lives this year with a N15,000,000 commitment for scholarships and business grants.
According to the Foundation, the scholarships and business grants are meant to empower deserving students, youths, men, and women while promoting equal access to education and entrepreneurship. The initiative reflects the Foundation’s continuous mission to bridge social and economic gaps in underserved communities across Akwa Ibom State.
In a statement, the Foundation noted, “This year’s edition will deliver even greater impact as we continue to support education, skills development, and business growth through accessible funding opportunities.”
Building on a strong legacy of providing two-year scholarships, skills acquisition programs, and business support, the Prince Ukeme Ukpong Mega Foundation has also launched online application forms to simplify access for applicants. This digital approach ensures that students and small business owners can conveniently apply from anywhere within Akwa Ibom State.
Prince Ukeme Ukpong, Chancellor of the Foundation, reaffirmed his commitment to community development, stating that the project remains personally funded. He emphasized, “We are dedicated to transforming lives and building brighter futures for our people.”
So far, the Foundation has awarded 93 tertiary scholarships, 54 unit fee payments, 360 bursaries, and 84 business grants, totaling over N50,000,000 already invested in education and small business empowerment.
