June 5, 2025 – The Abia State Government, through the Office of the Honourable Commissioner, Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education, has announced that successful candidates in the 2025 teachers recruitment exercise must upload their acceptance letter and medical report from June 5 to June 17, 2025.
According to the official statement, “Applicants who have printed their official offer of appointment should proceed and upload their acceptance letter and medical report between June 5 and June 17, 2025.”
The ministry further warned that “the portal will not be reopened for upload of Acceptance Letter and Medical Report after the 2-week deadline. Those who do not comply will be seen as having rejected the offer.”
Candidates must also reupload all their academic certificates. Those who previously submitted their Acceptance Letter and Medical Report physically at SEMB or ASUBEB must retrieve them and upload them online.
The ministry stressed that “any falsified medical report will lead to immediate disqualification.” Applicants must also update their Local Government Area of residence and full residential address on the platform.
“Notification of Appointment and Deployment Letters will be made available online after the deadline,” the ministry added.
All stages of this government teaching job process will remain strictly online. Physical submissions are not allowed.
