In Delta State, 400 farmers received grants and farm inputs through the Renewed Hope Initiative’s Agricultural Support Program. This strategic move, led by the First Lady of Nigeria, Her Excellency Senator Oluremi Tinubu CON, aims to boost food security, create jobs, and drive economic development.
She was represented at the event by the First Lady of Delta State, Deaconess Tobore Oborevwori.
The program, supported by the You Matter Charity Foundation, encourages agricultural productivity through smart initiatives like “Every Home a Garden,” which promotes home-grown food and better nutrition.
Speaking on behalf of Deaconess Oborevwori, Mrs. Catherine Onyeme stressed that empowering farmers is essential for building a stronger, food-secure society. She encouraged the farmers to use the grants and farm supplies wisely to grow their businesses.
