Distribution of Renewed Hope Ward Development Program (RHWDP) beneficiary forms is still ongoing across the country, as coordinators continue sharing the forms at the grassroots for petty traders and small business owners.
Information available shows that the exercise is being organised through Local Government Areas (LGAs), where designated coordinators are overseeing the issuance of forms directly to intended beneficiaries at ward level. The programme is part of a wider federal effort to support small businesses and improve economic activities at the community level.
Officials have said the forms are meant only for eligible applicants, stressing that the aim is to support those who genuinely need financial help. The target is to reach 1,000 people per ward at the grassroots who truly need this support.
Applicants have also been warned to fill their details correctly, as any mistake with the requirements can lead to disqualification. “Any application without a valid phone number or National Identification Number (NIN) will be automatically voided,” a coordinator explained, adding that checks are in place to remove ineligible applicants.
The RHWDP form requires personal details, business information, and bank details, including BVN, for proper verification and payment.
Although there is no official amount confirmed yet, reports suggest beneficiaries may receive ₦50,000 in phases, possibly reaching about ₦150,000 in total.
Distribution is still ongoing, and is expected to continue a across remaining wards as more eligible Nigerians are being reached.
