The Southern Kaduna Aid Foundation (SKAID Foundation) has officially opened applications for its China Master’s Scholarship Scheme 2026 targeted at qualified graduates from Southern Kaduna.
The scholarship opportunity is designed for indigent graduates who want to pursue a Master’s degree in China, particularly in STEM-related fields. According to the foundation, the programme aims to support academic advancement while developing professionals who can contribute to the growth and development of Southern Kaduna.
Applications are currently ongoing and interested candidates are expected to complete the process before the deadline on 21 May 2026.
About the SKAID China Master’s Scholarship Scheme
The SKAID Foundation said the scholarship programme is part of its commitment to educational support and human capital development in Southern Kaduna.
The foundation is inviting applications from graduates who meet the academic and eligibility requirements for postgraduate studies abroad. Successful applicants will have the opportunity to study for a Master’s degree in China.
The initiative focuses mainly on STEM-related disciplines, reflecting the growing demand for skilled professionals in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
Who Can Apply?
According to the eligibility criteria released by the foundation, applicants must meet the following conditions:
- Must be an indigene of Southern Kaduna
- Must have graduated from a recognised university
- Must possess a minimum CGPA of 3.5
- Must have studied a STEM-related course
- Must have completed the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC)
- Must be willing to serve as a SKAID Ambassador
Only candidates who meet all the listed requirements are encouraged to apply.

- A detailed Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- Evidence of state or local government of origin
- Certified true copies of academic transcripts and degree certificates
- A Statement of Purpose not exceeding 500 words explaining how the selected Master’s programme aligns with the development goals of Southern Kaduna
- Two academic or professional reference letters
