PSC has assured applicants in the ongoing Nigeria Police Force recruitment exercise that successful candidates will soon be invited for medical screening after the evaluation of the written examination is completed.

In a public message issued to applicants, the Police Service Commission urged candidates to remain calm and avoid falling into the hands of scammers promising recruitment assistance or fake admission into the next stage of the process.

The Commission said the recruitment exercise remains strictly merit-based and promised to maintain transparency throughout the process.

“We promised you a merit-based recruitment into the NPF and we will keep that promise,” PSC stated.

According to the Commission, the ongoing stage involves a “thorough evaluation” of the written examination conducted for applicants across the country. It explained that invitations for medicals will be sent to successful candidates immediately the review process is concluded.

PSC also advised applicants to stay patient and vigilant while waiting for official communication.

“As soon as the ongoing thorough evaluation of the written examination is concluded, we will invite successful applicants for medicals,” the Commission said.

The warning comes amid rising reports of fraudsters targeting police recruitment applicants with fake messages, payment demands, and false promises of selection.

Applicants were reminded that the recruitment process does not require illegal payments and that all official updates will come directly from PSC communication channels.

The Commission further stressed that candidates should rely only on verified PSC platforms for information regarding the recruitment exercise.

The ongoing Nigeria Police Force recruitment has attracted thousands of applicants nationwide, with many candidates awaiting the release of the next batch of successful names for the medical screening phase.

PSC ended the message with a fresh appeal for calm, urging applicants not to panic or engage with individuals claiming they can influence the recruitment outcome.

“Please be patient, stay calm and remain vigilant,” the Commission added.
