The Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC) has denied claims that it offered 10,000 job vacancies in its recent recruitment that concluded on March 17, 2025. In a public statement, the Commission said, “The attention of the Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC) has been drawn to a publication circulating on conventional and online media,” which falsely reported 10,000 openings.

FCSC clarified that the actual number of vacancies is 2,130. “This is not true and misleading,” the Commission noted, warning job seekers and the public to avoid falling for such claims.

The Commission added, “We advise the public to verify any information concerning the recruitment exercise.” It confirmed that the shortlisting has ended and shortlisted candidates will be notified via the FCSC website and trusted media platforms.
