According to an announcement on the council’s official social media page, the examination will take place from November 12 to 14, 2026. The assessment will be conducted as a Computer-Based Test (CBT).
The council advised all registered candidates to contact or visit their nearest TRCN office from November 9 to confirm the exact date and time assigned to them. Candidates are expected to follow their individual accreditation and examination schedules.
Accreditation is scheduled to commence at 8:00 a.m. Candidates should confirm their reporting time and examination date with the council before travelling to their designated centres.
TRCN warned that admission into examination premises will be strictly based on the approved examination schedule. Candidates should not assume they can enter a centre at any time during the three-day examination window.
The announcement was issued by Dr Ronke Soyombo, Registrar and Chief Executive of the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria. The council provided its call centre number, 0201 331 3001, for further enquiries.
The Professional Qualifying Examination is an important assessment for individuals seeking professional recognition and registration as qualified teachers in Nigeria. Candidates preparing for the 2026 Batch B exercise are advised to confirm their schedules early and make arrangements to avoid missing their examination.
Confirming schedules is therefore important.
