The Nigerian Navy is expected to publish the shortlist for its 2026 Basic Training School Batch 39 recruitment exercise ahead of the aptitude test scheduled for November 21.

The Navy’s recruitment portal lists November 21 as the date for aptitude tests and written examinations at designated centres nationwide. Only shortlisted applicants will be invited to participate in this stage.

Although applicants are waiting for the shortlist, the Navy has not stated a specific date for its publication. Candidates should avoid treating social media claims or unofficial lists as confirmation that the names have been released.

Applicants should remember that Nigerian Navy recruitment is free. No agent or individual can guarantee shortlisting or enlistment in exchange for payment. Any request for money should be treated with caution.
