September 19, 2025 – The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has started sending exam links via email to candidates who were successful in the earlier stage of the recruitment process. This is part of the preparation for the upcoming Computer-Based Test (CBT) exercise.
According to reports, many candidates have begun receiving email notifications, and the invitations are being released in batches. Applicants are advised to keep checking their Gmail accounts regularly to avoid missing important updates.
The official NCS email reads:
“Pre-Test Link & Instructions
Dear [candidate name]
As part of the requirements for your enlistment into the Nigeria Customs Service, a Pre-Test Link is hereby forwarded to you for your log-in procedures and the Pre-Test exercise.”
It further states:
“Candidate Number: …
Date & Time: Monday, September 22, 2025 at 3:00PM
Start Pre-Test”
“Please note that the purpose of the Pre-Test is to allow you to familiarize yourself with the system before the actual test.”
Candidates are instructed not to use mobile phones for this exercise. They are required to log in using laptops or desktop computers equipped with webcams and must enable full-screen display during the test.
Upon signing in, candidates will need to complete facial verification and carefully review the provided instructions. They will have 30 minutes to complete the log-in process and verification before clicking the START button to begin the Pre-Test.
The NCS recruitment team earlier emphasized that the system is designed to automatically log out anyone with excessive body movements or background noise. Candidates are advised to be in a quiet environment to avoid disqualification.
This first link is only for the pre-test, while a second link will later be sent to candidates for the actual CBT exam scheduled for a different date.
