Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has approved the conduct of promotion examinations for all staff of the Kwara State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) who are due for the 2025 promotion exercise.
The Chairman of the Commission, Mallam Bello Tauheed Abubakar, disclosed this in Ilorin while addressing the management staff of the commission in his office. He said the approval reflects Governor AbdulRazaq’s continuous commitment to improving the welfare and motivation of teachers across the state’s education sector.
According to him, “This approval is another testimony to Governor AbdulRazaq’s dedication to the welfare of teachers and his support for quality education in Kwara State.”
Bello recalled that since assuming office in 2019, the governor has cash-backed promotions for the years 2015, 2016, and 2017, and has continued to do so for 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024 respectively.
He urged the affected TESCOM staff to remain dedicated to their primary assignments to ensure effective service delivery, noting that the present administration will continue to prioritize their welfare.
Mallam Bello added that the date for the 2025 promotion examination will be communicated to the concerned staff soon.
