In line with the 4th Policy Thrust of His Excellency, Barr. Caleb Mutfwang, Executive Governor of Plateau State, on Human Capacity Development and Education, the Plateau State Microfinance Development Agency (PLASMIDA), through the Plateau Job Centre, has organized a two-day capacity-building training for members of the Mission for the Vulnerable and Displaced Citizens (MVDC).
The training focused on Financial Literacy and Digital Marketing Skills, providing participants with practical knowledge to manage resources effectively, explore online business opportunities, and strengthen their entrepreneurial potential. According to the organizers, the initiative is part of the government’s drive to promote inclusive economic empowerment and sustainable development across the state.
Experts from PLASMIDA facilitated sessions that covered budgeting, savings, investment, and the use of digital platforms to increase income sources. Participants expressed their gratitude to the Plateau State Government and PLASMIDA for the opportunity. “This training is a life-changing experience that has opened new doors of self-reliance and growth,” said one of the participants.
