The Katsina State Government has opened recruitment for 80 health personnel following the upgrade of the Comprehensive Health Centre in Dandume to a General Hospital.
In a public announcement dated March 30, 2026, the government said the approval was granted by the state governor, Malam Dikko Umar Radda, to support the take-off of the newly upgraded facility.
According to the notice, applications have been opened for qualified candidates to fill various positions including medical officers, radiographers, X-ray technicians, dental therapists, dental technicians, nurses, medical laboratory scientists, pharmacy staff, and administrative personnel.
Other positions listed are medical laboratory technicians, medical record technicians, pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, admin officers, computer analysts, and accountants.
The government stated that the recruitment is specifically for the General Hospital, Dandume, located in Dandume Local Government Area, adding that successful applicants must be willing to reside and work at the facility.
It further noted that applicants must be indigenes of Katsina State, except for medical doctors, and must not be above 50 years of age at the time of application.
Applicants are also required to possess relevant academic qualifications and a valid practising licence issued by appropriate professional bodies.
The notice added that only candidates who meet the stipulated requirements will be shortlisted for a Computer-Based Test.
