The Borno State Arabic and Sangaya Education Board (BOSASEB) has issued a public notice announcing screening details for shortlisted applicants across selected local government areas in the state.

According to the notice, the screening exercise will take place over two days, from April 25 to April 26, 2026, with activities scheduled to begin by 7:00 a.m. each day.
The board outlined specific venues for applicants based on their respective local government areas, urging candidates to attend only at their designated locations.
Screening venues by LGA
- Bama LGA: GGBAMA, Bama
- Chibok LGA: Chibok Central Primary School
- Gwoza LGA: UBEC Central Primary School, Gwoza
- Kaga and Marte LGAs: Babagana Wakil Higher Islamic School, Maiduguri
BOSASEB stressed that all shortlisted candidates must report on time and come along with all required original documents for verification.
Required documents
Applicants are expected to present the following:
- NYSC discharge certificate (for Degree and HND holders)
- NCE certificate
- Diploma certificate
- SSCE certificate
- Primary school leaving certificate
- Birth certificate
- Indigene certificate
The board emphasised that only original and valid documents will be accepted during the screening process.
The announcement forms part of ongoing efforts to ensure a transparent and merit-based recruitment process within the state’s Arabic and Sangaya education system.
Candidates have been advised to strictly adhere to the guidelines, as failure to comply may lead to disqualification from the exercise.
