The Federal Government’s Renewed Hope Conditional Cash Transfer is reportedly ongoing, with beneficiaries receiving payments in parts of the country.
Payments under the Renewed Hope Conditional Cash Transfer are already ongoing at the Buruku Secretariat, the council headquarters, Buruku Local Government Area. Beneficiaries whose names have been activated are being invited to come forward and receive their payments.
The programme, implemented through the National Cash Transfer Office (NCTO), provides financial support to eligible vulnerable households to help meet essential needs.
Under the Household Prosperity and Empowerment (HoPE) programme, the cash transfer is designed to provide ₦25,000 monthly for three months, amounting to ₦75,000 per household.
The intervention targets eligible households, including women, men, young people, older persons and persons with disabilities.
Payments are made to approved beneficiaries, with notifications sent through official channels. The programme is not an open application for every Nigerian, and receiving payment depends on eligibility and activation.
Beneficiaries are advised to verify information through official government channels and avoid anyone demanding payment to access cash transfer support.
How to benefit
Interested households should contact their State Cash Transfer Unit or relevant state social protection office to enquire about the official enrolment process and eligibility requirements. Enrolment is conducted through authorised government structures, and inclusion does not guarantee immediate payment. For enquiries and grievances, call 969 (MTN only).
