The Federal Government has added Xpress Payment to providers through which selected Nigerians can accept the ₦50,000 National Emergency Relief and Stabilisation Intervention (NERSI).

It joins ALAT, MoMo PSB, NairaGram, OPay and Moniepoint in facilitating the support.
Xpress Payment has not yet reportedly sent SMS alerts to selected beneficiaries. Eligible Nigerians are expected to receive SMS instructions soon on accepting and withdrawing funds through USSD or the mobile app.
The addition does not mean every Xpress Payment customer has been selected. Beneficiaries should await official communication and verify messages before acting.
Never share your PIN, password or one-time password (OTP), or pay anyone to access the relief. The support is free; avoid fees from anyone.
How to accept
Selected beneficiaries should watch for official SMS instructions. Once notified, follow the supplied USSD code or use the Xpress Payment app to accept and withdraw the ₦50,000.
