The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) drug test portal is no longer displaying results for some candidates in the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) recruitment exercise, leaving applicants awaiting official screening outcomes.
Screenshots shared by applicants show appointments marked “Completed”, while the Drug Test Result section displays “No drug test result yet”. Some candidates say results were previously visible and downloadable before disappearing.
The reports have raised questions about whether results were temporarily hidden as recruitment moves towards its final stage. However, neither NDLEA nor CDCFIB has confirmed that results were deliberately removed or explained why some applicants cannot view them.
CDCFIB had stated that the final outcome for candidates who successfully complete and pass the NDLEA substance abuse screening would be communicated through its official recruitment portal after the exercise concludes.
Therefore, a “Completed” status does not confirm that an applicant has passed the drug test or secured employment. Candidates must await the Board’s official outcome.
On October 30, NDLEA announced that candidates would not pay for the Drug Integrity Test (DIT), because the Ministry of Interior had already made bulk payment to cover the exercise. Candidates were told to use the designated portal access provided through their institutional recruitment portals.
The screenshot also identifies an in-Nigeria test appointment at the NDLEA Headquarters Annex in Abuja for the affected candidate shown in the image.
What applicants should do
Candidates should monitor their official CDCFIB recruitment dashboard and avoid treating screenshots, social media claims or unofficial lists as proof of passing. They should not pay anyone to access results or influence recruitment decisions. Final outcomes will be communicated through the official portal after screening concludes.
