The Government of Cross River State has announced the second batch of orientation training for newly recruited public and civil servants. According to the Cross River State Civil Service Commission, the programme is part of efforts to conclude the ongoing recruitment of eligible candidates into the state’s public service.
In a statement dated 5 August 2025, the Cross River State Ministry of Establishment, Pensions and Training, in collaboration with the Civil Service Commission, revealed that the training will run for two days and will be conducted in four batches of 500 participants each.
“The list of names of the second batch of 500 persons drawn from various cadres and across the 18 Local Government Areas of the state is hereby released for public information,” the statement read. It added that the dates and venue for the training will be announced within this week by the Ministry of Establishment, Pensions and Training.

Sir Maurice Effiwatt, KSJI, JP+, Chairman of the Cross River State Civil Service Commission, signed the notice, urging participants to prepare for the upcoming exercise.
