The Federal Ministry of Youth Development (FMYD) is promoting the IDG 2026 National Girls Creative Competition.

Its theme is “End Child Marriage and Invest in Girls’ Rights.” Nigerian females aged 10 to 20 can submit creative videos.
Videos must be no longer than 120 seconds and may feature spoken word, poetry, dramatic monologue, storytelling or song.

Post entries on TikTok, Instagram, X or Facebook using #GFC2026CreativeCompetition and tagging @fmyd_official and @gyrinetwork. The deadline is October 18, 2026.
The first-place winner may serve as Minister for Youth Development for 24 hours as a Shadow Minister. The top three winners will receive cash gifts and may attend the Girls Future Conference (#GFC2026).

- Nigerian females aged 10 to 20.
How to apply
- Create a video on the theme, lasting up to two minutes.
- Post it on TikTok, Instagram, X or Facebook.
- Use the hashtag and tag both official accounts.
