Founder Dojo Imo has opened applications for Cohort 2, inviting aspiring founders across Nigeria to apply for a one-year founder-development programme with 100 places available.
The programme offers structured training, in-person mentorship in Owerri and remote mentoring from Silicon Valley founders. Its method was developed with the University of California, Berkeley’s Sutardja Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation and has reportedly been used by more than 5,000 founders in over 80 countries.
According to the announcement, participants will learn from experienced founders, including entrepreneurs who have built businesses valued at more than $1 billion. The initiative focuses on developing founders, rather than simply helping applicants launch a startup.
The first application deadline for full consideration is Monday, October 19, 2026. The final deadline is Sunday, November 1, 2026. Applicants are encouraged to apply early because only 100 places are available.
The programme materials feature Imo Digital City and other partners. Applicants should check the official website for eligibility details and selection requirements before applying.
