The Oyo State Government has opened online registration for the 2025/2026 General Bursary Awards for eligible final-year students of Oyo State origin studying in public tertiary institutions across Nigeria.

Registration commenced on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, and will close on Monday, November 2, 2026. Eligible students are encouraged to apply before the deadline, as late applications may not be accepted.
Who is eligible?
- Applicants must be indigenes of Oyo State enrolled in Nigerian public tertiary institutions
- Eligible categories include final-year undergraduate, Higher National Diploma (HND), National Certificate in Education (NCE), clinical, aviation and maritime students.
Final-year law students are excluded. Part-time students, Nigerians studying overseas and students attending private tertiary institutions are also ineligible.
Applicants should carefully review the requirements before beginning registration to avoid errors that could affect their applications.
Required documents
Applicants must prepare their admission letters, Local Government identification letters, current course registration forms endorsed by their Heads of Department, and passport photographs.

Valid commercial bank account details belonging to the applicant are also required for registration.
