On July 1st, 2025, the Bayelsa State Civil Service Commission officially announced that all successful candidates from the recently held CBT recruitment examination are invited to participate in the next stage — an oral interview. The interviews will take place from Wednesday, July 9th to Wednesday, July 23rd, 2025, at the Civil Service Commission Conference Hall in Yenagoa, starting at 10 a.m. each day.
According to the Permanent Secretary, Dr. Sokari Stanley G., “Only candidates who receive official text message invitations will be allowed to attend the oral interview.”
Candidates are required to bring the following documents for the interview: birth certificate or age declaration, academic qualifications (from First School Leaving Certificate to the highest degree), NYSC discharge or exemption certificate (for graduates), professional certificates (if available), NIN printout, and one passport-sized photograph.

1. Brass LGA – July 9th
2. Ekeremor LGA – July 10th
3. Kolokuma/Opokuma LGA – July 11th and 14th
4. Nembe LGA – July 15th
5. Ogbia LGA – July 16th
6. Sagbama LGA – July 17th and 18th
7. Southern Ijaw LGA – July 21st
8. Yenagoa LGA – July 22nd and 23rd
