Applicants in the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) recruitment exercise scheduled for weekend drug tests at some National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) commands have reportedly been asked to report on Monday, November 9.
A notice at Abuja’s NDLEA State Command directed applicants scheduled for Saturday and Sunday to return by 7am.
The development has drawn attention in Lagos, where an applicant commented that candidates visiting the state command were asked to return Monday. However, the written notice available is from Abuja; the Lagos report has not been independently confirmed.
The screening is part of the recruitment process for candidates who progressed to the required stages. NDLEA says the mandatory Drug Integrity Test (DIT) is free because the Ministry of Interior has already made bulk payment.
What to do
Affected applicants should contact their selected NDLEA command to confirm their appointment and follow official instructions. Those told to report Monday should arrive by 7am. Do not pay anyone for the test.
