Moniepoint users can check whether they have been selected for the Federal Government’s ₦50,000 National Emergency Relief and Stabilisation Intervention (NERSI).

A recipient’s SMS says: “Relief! FGN has selected you to receive N50,000 under NERSI to help with living costs. This is FREE.” It directs users to dial *5573*27# to get the relief and provides 07000222222 for enquiries.
The alert indicates Moniepoint is sending NERSI selection messages, but it does not mean every customer has been selected or that payment has been credited.
Recipients should follow instructions through Moniepoint channels and avoid sharing their PIN, password or one-time password (OTP). The relief is described as free, so applicants should not pay anyone to access it.
Other confirmed partner institutions so far include ALAT (Wema), MoMo, NairaGram, OPay, and Xpress.
