Help Hub Empowerment Foundation has unveiled a two-part digital capacity initiative aimed at equipping Nigerian youths with practical skills and future-ready knowledge in an increasingly technology-driven economy.

The programme combines a free digital marketing training with a forward-looking seminar on artificial intelligence (AI), reflecting growing concerns around digital inclusion, employability, and workforce preparedness in Nigeria. The initiative targets young Nigerians who are yet to fully participate in the digital economy, offering them structured opportunities to build relevant competencies.

The first phase is a Free 2-Day Digital Marketing Training scheduled for May 6 and 7, 2026, holding virtually via Google Meet from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM daily. According to the organisers, the sessions are designed to provide foundational and income-generating digital skills for students and young professionals.

The training will introduce participants to key principles of digital marketing, focusing on core competencies required in today’s technology-driven environment. It will also explore practical applications, demonstrating how digital marketing tools can be leveraged to grow businesses, improve visibility, and create new income streams.

Speaking on the initiative, founder Mrs. Modupe Onabanjo said the programme was driven by the need to support underserved youths and expand access to opportunities within the education and digital sectors.

“This initiative is about helping young people succeed, build self-awareness, achieve personal fulfilment, and contribute meaningfully to the growth of the education sector in Nigeria,” she said.

She added that offering the programme at no cost is a deliberate effort to remove financial barriers that often prevent many young Nigerians from acquiring relevant digital skills.

The second phase of the initiative will focus on the future of work through a seminar themed “Preparing TVET for the AI-driven Future of Work,” aimed at aligning technical and vocational education and training (TVET) with emerging global trends.
