June 25, 2025 – The Akwa Ibom State Government is set to launch a Unified Public Servants’ Portal, aimed at improving access to digital services for all public workers.
The new platform will serve public servants in the Mainstream, Teachers, and Local Government sectors. Each worker will have a personalised, bank app-style account to manage their details easily. It also comes with a built-in verification system, putting an end to manual verification processes.
Public servants will be able to check their payslips, payment history, and other service records online, anytime.

Announcing the development during the 2025 Public Service Lecture Week, the Commissioner for Science and Digital Economy, Dr. Frank Ekpeyong, said, “This portal will simplify how our public servants access services.”
