The Poverty Alleviation and Wealth Creation Agency (PAWECA) has announced the resumption of data capture for the Fintiri Business Wallet programme across Adamawa State after a temporary suspension for the Sallah holiday.

In a statement issued by the Director General of PAWECA, Dr. Michael Zira, the agency said the registration exercise resumed on Monday, June 1, 2026, as part of efforts to ensure that all eligible beneficiaries are captured under the programme.

According to the statement, field personnel have been directed to return to their assigned locations across the 21 Local Government Areas (LGAs) of the state to continue the data capture process for individuals who have not yet completed their registration.

Dr. Zira reiterated PAWECA’s commitment to ensuring that no qualified beneficiary is left out of the programme.

“Every eligible beneficiary in possession of a PAWECA form will be captured,” he said.

He also appealed to residents to remain patient and cooperate with registration officials to enable a smooth and orderly exercise across the state.

The Fintiri Business Wallet programme is one of the Adamawa State Government’s initiatives aimed at expanding access to financial support for small-scale traders, entrepreneurs and vulnerable groups. The resumption of data capture is expected to accelerate the onboarding of more beneficiaries into the scheme.

PAWECA said the exercise will continue across all LGAs until eligible applicants with valid registration forms have been captured in the programme’s database.
