The Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) Lagos Section has opened applications for its Executive Mentorship Programme, giving young professionals an opportunity to learn from experienced industry executives.

The six-month programme will run from November 2026 to April 2027, offering participants career guidance, industry insights and professional connections.
Applicants must be young professionals with one to seven years of experience and a commitment to professional growth.
Selected participants will be matched with senior executives for monthly mentorship sessions. Meetings may take place virtually or in person, allowing participants to gain practical knowledge and build relationships that could support their careers.
It is intended for early-career professionals seeking clearer career direction, stronger industry networks and direct exposure to the experiences and expectations of established practitioners in their fields.
